Nathans Finance directors jailed, fined

Three former Nathans Finance directors have been sentenced after being found guilty in July of breaching the Securities Act.

In the Auckland High Court today, Donald Young was sentenced to nine months home detention and ordered to pay $310,000 in reparations.

Roger Moses received two years and two months in jail, and has been ordered to pay $425,000 in reparations.

Mervyn Doolan received a sentence of two years and four months.

In July the trio was found guilty of breaching the Securities Act. The Crown was seeking to have the trio jailed.
