Workers are angry and disappointed following confirmation New Zealand Post is closing its Christchurch call centre.
70 jobs are to go from the Christchurch call centre, with operations moving north to Auckland.
Staff have been offered employment at the new centre, but only 45 positions will be available.
NZ Post says the decision hasn't been made lightly.
Today's news follows a major profit announcement, with the company announcing on Friday a net profit after tax of $143 million.
