Mediaworks has announced the launch of its new TV On Demand service for TV3 and FOUR.
The On Demand website will increase offerings of premium international and local shows, to the TV3 and FOUR audience – starting today.
“TV3 and FOUR have fantastic shows. All we had to do was create an online viewing experience that makes it as easy as possible for people to watch videos online, while also delivering advertisers value for money ad positions,” says Mediaworks Director of Interactive, Siobhan McKenna.
“It was as easy and as complicated as that.”
From today, Home and Away fans will be able to view the last five episodes of the soap, online at TV3 On Demand.
The keystone of the new service is the upgraded video player, offering viewers a TV-like experience with higher quality video.
Glee, America’s Next Top Model, Underbelly, and NCIS LA are among the TV3 international favourites available On Demand immediately after their broadcast.
Local shows include Outrageous Fortune, 7 Days, The Kitchen Job and RadiRadiRah as well as current affairs shows Campbell Live and The Nation.
Mediaworks research showed 77 percent of its On Demand audience had missed the show on air. The new On Demand service enables viewers to keep up with the programme – and stay with it.
