One Direction singer, Harry Styles, took a spectacular fall from grace during the boy band's live performance in the US on Thursday.
One Direction was opening their US tour in San Diego, their first concert since Zayne Malik left the group in March, when 21-year-old Styles failed to keep his balance.
The group was performing Through the Dark when Styles' microphone caught onto an object on stage and fell to the floor and into a stage background in cringingly comical fashion.
However, as most have to in the showbiz industry, the teen heartthrob picked himself up and continued on with the show without further complications.
Fans took to Twitter to sympathise and revel in his public embarrassment, with fellow band member Niall Horan's laughing reaction retweeted several times.
