Astronaut Chris Hadfield is preparing to leave the International Space Station, and to say goodbye has recorded a cover of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity'.
In a video posted to YouTube, Commander Hadfield floats around inside the space station singing the '60s classic, flinging his guitar around in zero gravity and admiring Earth through the canopy of the space station.
Commander Hadfield will shortly transfer command of the International Space Station to Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov, before returning to Earth.
With deference to the genius of David Bowie, here's Space Oddity, recorded on Station. A last glimpse of the World. youtube.com/watch?v=KaOC9d…
