A man has dropped his underage sex complaint against embattled former Sesame Street puppeteer Kevin Clash.
The unidentified male recently alleged he engaged in sex with Clash when he was below the age of consent, but on Monday he recanted his story and voluntarily dismissed his legal complaint at the US District Court in New York without prejudice.
A representative for the 52 year old, who previously voiced the beloved character Elmo, tells TheWrap.com the motion was not the result of an out-of-court settlement.
Clash resigned from the hit children's programme in November after two accusers came forward with similar underage sex claims.
He still faces lawsuits from three alleged victims.
