Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner will reportedly be Brooke Shields' new rental tenants.
The pair announced they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage last month, but have still been living together under the same roof with their children, nine-year-old daughter Violet, six-year-old Seraphina and three-year-old son Samuel.
Bennifer's home in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles is currently being renovated, which means they'll have to uproot their brood until the refurbishment is complete.
"They are going through extreme renovations and it's almost unlivable there now," a source told People magazine on why they decided to rent actress Brooke's home for the time being. "[It] is convenient."
Apparently Brooke's property is very near to the family estate in Pacific Palisades.
Jennifer and the kids are currently in Atlanta, where she is filming her forthcoming movie Miracles in Heaven.
Ben flew into Georgia twice this month to join his family in the city and it's claimed he is living in a guest house on the property Jennifer rented there.
"[Ben] is with the family for the summer in Atlanta and he will move together with the family – when they are back – into the new place temporarily," the source explained.
It's believed the family will return to the Los Angeles area to move into Brooke's rental property when the kids start school again this fall.
Ben grabbed headlines earlier this week after carrying a cute Labrador puppy around with him in Atlanta.
It's claimed the furry creature was purchased to add some joy to his children's lives in light of their parents' divorce.
"It's their new puppy," a second insider noted. "It's a family dog. It's another sign they are working together to raise kids and be in a kind relationship."
