Air New Zealand has released a new video, entitled Just another day in Middle-earth #airnzhobbit.
The video features Dean O'Gorman, who plays Fili in the Hobbit trilogy, and the voice of co-star Sylvester McCoy. It also features flight attendants, pilots, aircraft engineers, an aircraft marshal, baggage handlers and airport staff as themselves, most with a Middle-earth twist, and more than 120 extras.
Tourism New Zealand figures from last year's marketing activity around The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey show 82 percent of international survey respondents stated the campaign increased their interest in New Zealand.
It is not the first time Air New Zealand has released a Middle-earth inspired video - last year the company used An Unexpected Briefing as its in-flight safety video.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the second in Sir Peter Jackson's trilogy, is set to have its world premiere in Los Angeles on December 2.
