Broadcaster Alison Mau has proposed to her girlfriend of two years.
"We're excited to be taking this next step in our lives together, and want to thank all our family and friends for their unanimously positive reaction to our plans, and for all their unwavering support," the couple said in a statement after being contacted by Fairfax Media to confirm the rumour.
Mau met dancer Karleen Edmonds at her dance studio and the pair got engaged 10 days ago, shortly after Mau’s divorce to fellow TVNZ presenter Simon Dallow was finalised.
