Just 13 more sleeps 'til Santa's here, but in the meantime New Zealand's had another visitor with big black boots and a twinkle in his eye – X Factor Australia winner, Altiyan Childs.
So, it was fitting that he performed at Auckland's Christmas at the Park, last night New Zealand providing him with his biggest - and most enthusiastic - live audience yet.
Around 200,000 people packed Auckland's Domain last night to watch Altiyan do what he does best.
And it seems he's right in the middle of an intense affair with New Zealand.
"I am deeply in love, honestly, I just don't want to leave," he says. "I'm thinking I'll cause a stir and just disappear."
Altiyan says last night's show was the greatest concert experience of his life, but he had enough left over for one more performance, turning up at Sylvia Park Warehouse in Auckland this afternoon where he signed copies of his album.
He says he's "blown away" by New Zealand's reaction to him. Kiwis have welcomed him with open arms and approach him constantly - which he says he loves.
"The world doesn't need another power freak, it's time to inject some soul into the machine… My heart and my love for people is all that matter to me, I don't even care if I'm broke."
With a fan base like the one he has now, that's unlikely.
