Axl Rose performed two shows in Las Vegas with a broken foot over the weekend perched on Dave Grohl's stage throne.

The rocker suffered the injury during the debut of the recently reunited Guns N' Roses in Los Angeles earlier this month.

A black curtain covered the borrowed throne's Foo Fighters logo for most of Rose's first gig in it, before being pulled off near the end.

Rose told the crowd it was a "good advertisement" for his former rival, before saying: "I wanna thank Dave Grohl for this; it was very nice of him. I've got nothing to do with this."

He later took to Twitter with a personal message for the Foo Fighters frontman that acknowledged "words rn't enough [sic]", and hence was adorned with various emojis.

Rose had previously uploaded a video of his doctor detailing the injury and expected recovery period, put to a Guns N' Roses soundtrack of course.

Grohl had the special seat constructed last year after he suffered a broken leg on tour. It features multiple guitar necks sticking out in a fashion reminiscent of the swords of the iron throne of hit TV show Game of Thrones.

During the second Las Vegas performance, Guns N' Roses were joined onstage by Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach, a fellow icon of the '80s hair metal scene.

The 'Paradise City' hitmakers are heading home to California this weekend to headline the Coachella festival.
