Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron are the film's lead stars and in the just-released two-minute clip, they talk about what their testicles' voices sound like.
This is an R-rated comedy, unlike the more PG TV show it's based on, and it flaunts it proudly.
Johnson stars as veteran lifeguard Mitch Buchannon, who quickly comes into conflict with cocky newcomer Matt Brody (Efron), a gold medal-winning swimmer brought in to boost the fading public profile of the Baywatch team.
Mitch and Matt butt heads over their clashing styles in the trailer and each have their own unusual interactions with women.
After saving a bikini-clad babe from some sea-bound inferno, Mitch is offered sex as thanks - he responds with "some other time" before throwing her into the ocean.
Matt, on the other hand, meets colleague Summer (Alexandra Daddario), but is unable to look at her face while conversing with her because "it's so close to [her] boobs".
There's also a joke in the trailer about the show's famed slow-motion running shots, featuring Kelly Rohrbach.
Baywatch is released in New Zealand on May 11, 2017.
