British actor Benedict Cumberbatch is a first-time father after his wife gave birth to a baby boy.
The Imitation Game star and his partner Sophie Hunter welcomed a son on Saturday, just a day after the actor landed a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) honour from Queen Elizabeth II.
A spokesman for the couple confirms, "[They are] delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son."
No further details about the new arrival have been given.
Cumberbatch and Hunter married in February.
