Best Super Bowl 50 ads

Every year Super Bowl advertisements are fervently watched by millions of people, and each year they get almost as much attention as the game itself.

Each ad, at $5 million per 30-second spot, had the pressure of high expectations, and even circled the internet weeks before the big day.

We've picked out 10 memorable ones, so you don't have to sift through the masses yourself.

1. Pokemon20

This fast-paced ad will get your heart racing, and leave you either gathering the stamina to run a marathon, or feeling completely inadequate about your life.

2. Kia

This ad uses an interesting analogy – socks and cars – to prove driving a Kia helps you to avoid becoming a 'beige sock' kind of man.

3. Budweiser

Budweiser teams up with Helen Mirren to create an anti-drunk driving campaign somewhat similar to our own 'You're a bloody idiot' one. This campaign is calling drivers to #GiveaDamn.

4. Apartments.com

Lil Wayne and Jeff Goldblum make an interesting pair selling Apartments.com.

5. Mini

Mini uses Serena Williams for a celebrity-induced human interest angle to back its 'defy labels' slogan.

6. Doritos

Doritos take the highly-unrealistic but entertaining scenario of a baby pushing its way out of the womb to go for a Dorito chip.

7. Buick

"I can't believe that convertible is a Buick" is the catch-line of this wedding-themed ad, featuring Emily Ratajkowski.

8. Bud Light

Amy Schumer and Seth Rogan made a great mix for this Bud Light ad, mixing themes of the presidential election, beer and the release of Independence Day: Resurgence. A must-watch.

9. Axe Grooming for Men

Axe gathers the support of everyday men to 'find your magic' and 'work on it'.

10. Campbell's Chunky

Taking the more emotional approach, this ad for Campbell's Chunky plays on family ties and support.
