Black Eyed Peas star slams paparazzi

Will.i.am has criticised the paparazzi for being the "most disrespectful folk that the industry has".

The Black Eyed Peas star has spoken out in support of Justin Bieber, who hit headlines for all the wrong reasons last week as he embarked on the UK leg of his Believe tour.

Justin was slammed for his "disgusting" behaviour after turning up late to the first of his string of shows at The O2 arena in London, before getting into a foul-mouthed scuffle with a photographer in the UK capital.

Will thinks Justin has been given too much of a hard time by the "intrusive" photographers.

"Paparazzi are the most disrespectful folk that the industry has. People don't really realise just how intruding they are to one's life," he explained.

"You don't know what a person is going through every day. You could have a bad day; something can happen in your family. To be that judgmental and on - that's pressure. Especially when someone's growing up into an adulthood, you're going to affect their adult life."

Will thinks people need to leave Justin, 19, alone and not scrutinise his every move. The music producer believes he has the right people around him to ensure he doesn't spiral out of control.

"Give the guy some space and let him just grow up. He's a good kid, he has a good mom, he has good friends around him," he told Capital FM.

"I'd say just be a little bit sensitive to people and their individual space. He's already sharing his life with us, right?"
