Bobbi Kristina Brown's life-support switched off - reports

Members of Bobbi Kristina Brown's extended family are gathering at Atlanta, Georgia's Emory University Hospital to say farewell to Whitney Houston's daughter, according to multiple reports.

The 21-year-old was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at the Roswell, Georgia home she shares with partner Nick Gordon at the weekend and she has been hospitalised ever since.

A doctor has reportedly told her father Bobby Brown and members of the Houston family there's nothing more he and his team can do for Bobbi Kristina, and a source tells People.com, "Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye."

Her father, who turned 46 on Thursday (local time), is said to be devastated as he makes the decision whether or not to take his only child from his marriage to Whitney Houston off life-support.

The family source adds, "Bobby has been crying non-stop since yesterday."

Another insider tells the publication, "It's sinking in that this is it, but we're all still praying that God will intervene and heal her body."

The latest news comes just a week before the third anniversary of Whitney's death - the superstar drowned in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel on 12 February, 2012. Her passing was drug related.

Meanwhile, family members have released a new statement, insisting the situation is not as bleak as it has been reported, stating, "There is no 'family gathering' today that is any different from any other day since she (Bobbi Kristina) has been in the hospital - the family has been there since the weekend, so nothing (is) any different today for them to be there than any other day. She is not brain dead."

The statement also suggests that rumours of family squabbles at the 21 year old's bedside are false, adding, "The Houstons and the Browns are not fighting."

And, there may be a little good news in amongst all the tragedy for Brown - TMZ.com is reporting his wife, Alicia Etheredge, is four months pregnant.

Etheredge was spotted arriving at Emory University Hospital with the grieving father on Wednesday (local time).
