Bobbi Kristina’s body has been released by the coroner.

The 22-year-old passed away on Monday after battling for life over the past six months.

Following an autopsy, the Fulton County Medical Examiner released the late star’s body to a funeral home at around 12 midday on Tuesday (local time).

Her body will be kept at the venue until her funeral on Saturday, which will be taking place at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Bobbi Kristina will then be laid to rest on Monday at the Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey; in the plot next to her late mother Whitney Houston.

The daughter of Whitney and her ex-husband Bobby Brown was originally found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub at her home in January.

Following the initial autopsy, the Medical Examiner released a statement explaining they were still unsure as to the "obvious underlying cause of death".

After further examinations, the office now has all the information needed to confirm the cause of Bobbi Kristina’s passing.

However, according to TMZ.com, the officials have determined that there was no foul play that contributed to her death.

Her father Bobby shared his heartbreak on Monday over the passing of his "baby girl".

“Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time," he said in a statement to E! News.

"My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honour her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
