Bobby Vee, 1960s pop singer, dies

Sixties pop icon Bobby Vee has died aged 73.

His chart-topping hits include 'Take Good Care Of My Baby' and 'The Night Has A Thousand Eyes'.

Vee released more than 25 albums during his career, and is credited with helping a young Bob Dylan get his start.

The family of the singer says he had been suffering from advanced Alzheimer's and died peacefully.
