Rapper/actor Bow Wow is adding TV presenter to his resume after landing a new job on US cable network BET.

The ‘Like You’ hitmaker caused controversy in New Zealand last month by snubbing a Maori powhiri at Auckland Airport and later lashing out at 3 News reporter Jenny Suo over the incident.

Bow Wow was unveiled as one of four new hosts of hit weekday programme 106 & Park on Monday following the departure of longtime presenters Rocsi Diaz and Terrence J.

An excited Bow Wow tells AllHipHop.com, "I'm all about branding myself not just in music - but on TV and in movies... Get ready for a whole new world."

And the young hip-hop star has been given a big vote of confidence from his record label boss Bryan 'Birdman' Williams.

The Cash Money Records mogul tells AllHipHop.com, "Bow has this in the bag! In addition to being a great rapper, he is a natural personality with great star power and style... I couldn't be more proud."

Bow Wow, 25, is joined on the new look 106 & Park by TV personalities Ms. Mykie, Paigon, and Shorty Da Prince.
