Busy Philipps has welcomed her second child.
The 34-year-old former Dawson's Creek actress and her screenwriter husband Marc Silverstein are the proud parents of another baby girl.
Busy shared a touching black and white photo of herself cradling her newborn on Twitter on Wednesday.
"So this happened..." she wrote.
The message served as the couple's informal announcement.
Busy did not share the baby girl's name.
The newborn is little sister to the couple's first-born daughter, Birdie, who was welcomed to the world in 2008.
Busy has used Twitter in the past to share the ups and downs of her latest pregnancy.
In May she wrote about the "ridiculous" dreams she was having.
One memorable slumber involved an imaginary cameo by John Mayer.
"Insane pregnancy dreams have begun: Last night I dreamt I was hanging out with John Mayer and we BOTH were wearing ridiculous fedoras," she mused.
The actress also shared an amusing roster of names people had suggested she consider.
"The guys at the post office just suggested I name my baby Rihanna or Aaliyah," she tweeted. "So apparently, I'm giving birth to an R&B superstar. RiRi Silverstein is kind of cute."
The actress said Birdie wanted her little sister to be named Maeby, after the teenage character in Arrested Development.
The most unique name, she said, came out of a "hormone-induced haze".
"I actually DID try to sell my husband on naming the baby Oprah," Busy wrote. "Because I love her so much."
