Activision has released a new trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops III, offering a preview of the game's campaign.
Black Ops III takes place in a "dark and gritty future" in which "the lines between humanity and military technology have been blurred."
The campaign follows a group of Black Ops soldiers as they navigate a new Cold War in search of their missing comrades.
This new trailer comes just a day after a controversial PR stunt, in which the official Call of Duty Twitter account was rebranded as a news aggregator and began reporting on a (fictitious, though this was not immediately apparent) disaster in Singapore and resulting state of emergency.
After reverting back to the Call of Duty branding, a tweet stated that "this was a glimpse into the future fiction of Black Ops 3".
Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be released on November 6 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
If you're wanting to play the campaign, however, you'll need to get it on PS4, Xbox One or PC, as the previous-gen versions of the game only have multiplayer and zombies modes.
