Calvin Harris bemoans ghost producer rumours

Calvin Harris thinks there's "nothing more annoying" than people claiming he doesn't produce his own music.

The Scottish DJ has produced, wrote and sang a number of hits in recent years including 'Let's Go', 'Feel So Close' and 'The Girls'. But despite his success, some people still seem to doubt his talent, much to his great annoyance.

"Honest to God nothing more annoying than people telling me i have a ghost producer smh" he wrote on his Twitter account.

"Working on this 16 years to be told some old guy in a secret studio must be making my records for me."

The 30-year-old's most recent UK number one was with 'Summer'. He also hit the top spot with 'I Will Never Let You Down', a song he co-wrote with ex-girlfriend and the song's performer, Rita Ora, who he split from in June. But despite his collaborations and his own skills, Calvin cannot believe people still question his abilities.

"Producing is something that i am good at. I also write songs. Lyrics. And i mix them. & sometimes i sing them. F**k ye" he continued in tweets.

Calvin and Rita ended their relationship after little more than a year together. It hasn't been a clean break either, with them crossing paths because of their music careers.

Last month the 'Under Control' star was said to be keeping tabs on his former flame in order to avoid a potentially awkward run in while they were both in Las Vegas.

"Calvin has been asking mutual friends to keep him in the loop of her plans so they avoid each other," a source told UK newspaper Daily Star.

"He's been doing everything he can to avoid bumping into her. Calvin is in Vegas almost every week and feels like it's his turf. He doesn't want the pressure of worrying about seeing her."
