Humpty Dumpty made some terrible life choices, and Dai Henwood intends to make sure his toddler doesn't repeat any of them.

In his hilarious DaiGression show at the Auckland Comedy Festival, Henwood marks his observations on the world around him, and the lessons he intends to teach his two-and-a-half-year-old son.

The hour-long show includes Henwood's trademark self-deprecating reference to his small stature, Buck Wild dance moves, and addresses his issues with taxis and couriers, nudists, Toddler Milk sunscreen and the objectification of women.

Henwood questions the Baha Men's approach to dog handling, what the world would be like if full of drunk animals and what kind of society we're living in where gang members do more good for the community than our gaffe-prone Prime Minister does.

As can be expected with Henwood, there is gentle ribbing of the front row as well as a role play with one unsuspecting audience member as he rehearses The Sex Talk he will inevitably have with his son.

DaiGression is a hilarious look at the world through Henwood's eyes, sure to have you in stitches. At the very least, you'll come away having learned the lesson he wants to impart most; Don't be a dick.

Dai Henwood's DaiGression runs at the Auckland Comedy Festival until Saturday May 16.
