An amorous couple was caught red-handed on the red carpet engaging in little hanky panky following this year's Cannes Lions ceremony.
Digital editor David Griner took a photo of the couple in action and tweeted it earlier this month at the Cannes Film Festival, in France and the racy pic has now gone viral.
"I snapped a photo with my iPhone just for a laugh. I didn't even think you'd really be able to see them at all with the giant glowing sign overhead and general darkness," says Griner.
"After 20 minutes or so (not bad, all things considered), they finished up, gathered their scattered shoes and belongings, and walked away arm in arm. They got a smattering of applause."
Griner says the incident took place just metres away from guards, who did not stop the couple.
