Rocker Courtney Love has posted an emotional note to her late husband Kurt Cobain on Instagram, days after their daughter's birthday.
Frances Bean Cobain turned 23 on August 18, and as part of a tribute to her and her father, the Hole star has posted a photo of herself and the Nirvana frontman in bed with their daughter when she was a baby.
Love wrote the caption, "My greatest love and our precious Bean #missyou #memories."
The nostalgia didn't pass for Love, who returned to her account on Saturday to share another snap from the same photo shoot, writing a more emotional note to her tragic partner.
She added the caption, "Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now. Jesus Kurt look at her face, what on earth were you thinking..!?!? God I miss you, we all miss you #family #memories #turnbacktime #lovehim."
Although the relationship between the 51-year-old rocker and her daughter Frances Bean has been quite tumultuous in the past, Cobain did respond to her mother's kind messages on Twitter.
Cobain took his own life in 1994, aged 27, when Frances Bean was only 20 months old.
