Crowds drawn to Late Night Art

As part of Auckland Art Week, which is taking place this week, a number of galleries opened late into the night.

It was to encourage people to take part in 'Late Night Art', a free event which ran from 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday.

Crowds were drawn into the city's centre for the event.

Some of the exhibitions were interactive live events, encouraging visitors to take part in the art.

There were also several guided walking and cycling tours.
