WWE superstar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has been invited to Joseph Parker's WBO Heavyweight Championship boxing world title fight against Andy Ruiz.
The bout takes place in Auckland on December 10, two weeks before Johnson's next movie Moana is released in cinemas here.
Promoters Duco Events announced they had invited the Fast & Furious star, who is proud of his Samoan heritage, along with details about the Samoan government's involvement with the event.
Parker also has Samoan heritage, and his full name is Lupesoliai La'auli Joseph Parker.
Johnson spent part of his childhood in Auckland and still has family in New Zealand and was recently gifted an official All Blacks jersey, as a big fan of the team.
He was recently named as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive and earlier this year, Forbes reported he was the highest-paid actor in Hollywood.
With his enormous social media presence - 70 million followers on Instagram alone - Johnson would be a great score for the fight's publicity.
