Elizabeth Banks is back alongside Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson in Pitch Perfect 2, which is her directorial debut.
In the sequel, the all-girl a cappella college group are banned from performing in the US so head to an international competition that no American team has ever won.
"You want to give the audience more of what they loved about the first film, but you don't want to repeat yourself," says Banks.
"You want to make sure you expand the world. In the first film, they become big fish in a small pond and this time, the pond is sort of the ocean. We wanted to open it up to the whole world."
