Wellington's iconic Embassy Theatre has opened the doors to its two new state of the art digital cinemas which are housed in what used to be the theatre’s orchestra pit.
The company behind the upgrade says they have been waiting for new digital projector technology to be developed because there is not enough room for traditional film projectors.The upgrade was celebrated with the premiere screening of Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg's 'Tintin'.
