Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke has given a raunchy interview to Glamour magazine about the hit TV show's female empowerment, controversial rape scenes and even the size of her male counterparts' genitals.

Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, describes co-star Jason Momoa's manhood as "fabulous" and co-star Michiel Huisman's bottom as "perfect".

The HBO fantasy series has faced criticism for the frequent female nudity it features, with substantially less male nudity. When Clarke was asked about how she felt about the audience seeing her fully nude in sex scenes with Momoa, while not seeing his 'dong', she states that she herself did.

"I saw his member, but it was covered in a pink fluffy sock. Showing it would make people feel bad. It's too fabulous," Clarke tells Glamour.

"I'd like to bring your memory back to Mr Michiel Huisman and I copulating for the first time, which began with me saying, 'Take off your clothes', and then you got to see his perfect bottom."

Targaryen is an enormously powerful character in the series, rising from humble and abused beginnings to being a feared and respected leader of huge armies and lands often referred to as 'Khaleesi'.

"This gorgeous girl once said to me, 'Watching Khaleesi makes me feel like I can be a strong woman'. I remember being like, 'That's proper'. That is a wonderful thing," says Clarke.

A recent report found that 40 percent of the series' audience is made up of females, which pleases Clarke.

"I love that so many women watch the show," she said. "If you look at Game of Thrones on face value - blood, tits, dragons, swearwords - you're like, 'Oh, this must be for guys'. But if you take that away, the storylines are fascinating depictions of the struggle for power. And women are in on that conversation."

Clarke even gave a graphic description of how she would like the show to end -- which heavily features male nudity.

"I want to see Daenerys and her three dragons share the throne," she mused. "Eat goat they've barbecued. And bring back all the pretty boys, get them to take their trousers down, and be like, 'I'm now the queen of everything! I'd like close-ups of all the boys' penises, please'."

Game of Thrones season six starts later this month.
