X-Men: First Class is the acclaimed new superhero film in cinemas this week from director Matthew Vaughan (Kick Ass).
The film stars Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, a blue mutant whose make-up and prosthetic body effects took around a day to complete.
At the film’s New Zealand premiere at Sylvia Park in Auckland on Wednesday night, a local model underwent an extensive make-up process to imitate the Mystique look.
3 News cameras were there and filmed the stunned onlookers as they arrived for the film.
