F-Kanye flag owner upset by burning

Lily Allen's flag-stealing antics at the Glastonbury festival last month left the cheeky banner's owner fearing her campsite had been raided by thieves.

Allen took offence to the 'F**k off Kanye' flag she saw hours before Kanye West hit the main stage for his controversial headlining spot and decided to burn it, documenting her actions on camera and posting the photographs on Instagram this week.

She added the caption, "Don't go for dinner at someone's house and tell them their food sucks."

But now it appears her actions left another festival-goer distraught, anxious - and lost.

The flag's owner, Aoibheann, tells NME.com she was "gutted" when she finally found her tent and realised the flag, which she had been using as a marker for her campsite amid Glastonbury's massive tent village, had been taken, and she spent hours convinced thieves had taken other personal items.

She rages, "I don't care who you are, you have no right to steal my stuff and vandalise it. Get off your high horse and stop nicking (stealing) things."

And defending her right to fly the flag, she adds, "Glastonbury is all about peace, love, good vibes and positivity. [Kanye] is an egotistical narcissistic and self-deluded idiot who's still basking in the light of his one good album. His stand out attribute is his commercialism and self-promotion which completely contradicts the socialist ethos of Glastonbury festival. So I reckoned he could just f**k off."

Aoibheann wasn't alone in her criticism - 134,000 music fans signed an online petition leading up to the festival urging organisers to pull Kanye from the line-up.
