The trailer has just been released for the indie film Southside with You, which chronicles Barack and Michelle Obama's first date.
Recording artist John Legend was the executive producer behind the film, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival. It was written and directed by Richard Tanne.
Parker Sawyers stars as Barack Obama, who had taken a summer job at a Chicago law firm in 1989. Tika Sumpter plays the then Michelle Robinson -- his boss.
Southside with You debuts in US theatres August 26.
