The Flaming Lips, Disclosure, Kurt Vile and The Chills are among the first acts announced for the inaugural McLaren Valley Music & Arts Festival.
The three-day, all-ages festival is set to take place in January at the idyllic McLaren Falls Park in Bay of Plenty.
The lake and bush setting below the Kaimai Ranges is approximately a 20 minute drive from Tauranga and features rolling hills, glow worm caves and forests, with onsite camping.
The full line-up of artists announced so far is as follows: Alison Wonderland, Arthur Ahbez, Avalanche City, The Chills, CW Stoneking, The Datsuns, David Dallas & The Daylight Robbery, Disclosure, The Eastern, Fazerdaze, The Flaming Lips, Jordan Léser, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Marlon Williams & The Yarra Benders, The Phoenix Foundation, P-Money, The Preatures, Racing, Tiny Ruins and Young Fathers.
Tickets go on sale on August 24.
