Full-flavoured Croucher beers stand out from the rest

I’m constantly on the look out for new and interesting beers to try.

There are so many beers out there on offer, but while the bigger and more established brands may be more affordable, they generally lack substance and flavour.

Croucher is one brew that lacks neither.

The Croucher Brewing Company is the dream of Paul Croucher that became reality with its commercial debut in 2006.

Brewing out of Rotorua, Croucher is fast being recognised as a quality beer.

Croucher Brewing Company currently produces three beers:

Pale Ale

A top class pale ale. Very smooth tasting with a dry finish, very hard to just have one!

Bohemain Pilsner

This is my personal favourite from the Croucher collection. If you like a reasonably hoppy taste then this one is for you. Nice floral aromas with a heavy hop taste and bitter finish. This is a great beer.

The Bohemain Pilsner was recently awarded Champion International lager at BrewNZ 2010, and won a Gold medal in the NZ Pilsner class.

The HEF

The HEF is a German styled cloudy wheat beer. There is very little bitterness to this beer and a creamy texture.

If you are a fan of beers that are full-flavoured and stand out from the rest I strongly suggest you try the Croucher beers.

You won’t be disappointed.
