Reality TV star Vicky Pattison has pleaded guilty to assault after attacking a woman with her stiletto shoe last year.
The Geordie Shore star attacked 18-year-old student and model Hannah Kelso in a bar after mistakenly thinking she had thrown ice at her and a friend.
Following an argument between Pattison and Kelso, the MTV star reportedly threw her shoe while security staff were trying to pull her away from the scene.
Kelso says she is pleased with the guilty plea and her father, William John Kelso, released a statement to media.
"I was devastated when I saw the picture my daughter sent me of her injury," says Mr Kelso.
"The injury she received from being hit with a stiletto heel was just millimetres from her eye. It could have been a lot worse but for the grace of God. It is just awful to see my daughter like that, so badly bruised, just awful.
"Hannah and her family are very grateful to all the emergency services that provided aid after this incident and would like to commend the police investigation and their contact with Hannah throughout this difficult period."
A member of the bar staff also suffered a cut lip during the incident and Pattison has admitted to two counts of assault.
Pattison will be sentenced next month with the judge stating she will not be facing jail time.
