Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen decided to retire from the runway because the demanding job was taking a major toll on her body.
The 34-year-old mother of two will make her final catwalk appearance in her native Brazil during Sao Paulo Fashion Week later this month, and Bundchen tells the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper that she has no regrets.
She says, "Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it's a privilege to be able to stop."
Bundchen has no plans to quit modelling all together, but she will be scaling back her workload so she can spend more time with her two young children and husband Tom Brady.
