Ubisoft has announced an upcoming arcade helicopter shooter release entitled Thunder Wolves.
The game, being developed by Belgium studio Most Wanted Entertainment, will have players join up with the titular Thunder Wolves, a group of battle-hardened helicopter pilots fighting terrorism.
Players will perform escort, deployment and assault missions. A co-op mode will allow one player pilot while another controls the guns.
Customisation of helicopters is said to be a key part of the game and Ubisoft promises over 30 combinations of choppers and weaponry.
Thunder Wolves will be released on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and Windows PC in early 2013.
