Online fashion retailer In the Style is well on its way to turning over £4.6 million (NZ$10 million), less than 2 years after its launch.
Manchester-based In the Style director Adam Frisby started the online retailer in his bedroom, with only £1000 of savings. The store now employs 30 staff and has a 650 square metre premises.
The retailer gained massive popularity when it started collaborations with reality TV stars Charlotte Crosby and Lauren Pope.
Geordie Shore star Crosby’s fashion line, Nostalgia, shows up as the top result when searching for In the Style online.
Celebrity collaborations are what almost quadrupled last year's £250,000 profit to a £900,000 forecast for this year.
"Having achieved so much in such a short amount of time, I’m really excited to see what the future will bring,” says 28-year-old Frisby, who left school without any qualifications.
