Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles are reportedly going on tour together.

The husband and wife music stars have appeared on stage together several times of late, with the rapper joining his spouse for some dates of her The Mrs Carter Show tour. That is in part because they have released new music together, with Jay Z appearing on track 'Drunk in Love' on Beyonce’s eponymous fifth album.

According to New York Post, the pair will now play some official dates together. The publication claims the couple are planning a 20-date tour which will kick off towards the end of June and could see them performing in New York on the July 4 holiday.

At the moment no further information is known. However, as Jay Z wrapped his Magna Carta World Tour in January and Beyonce’s latest series of shows ended last month the speculation seems believable.

Earlier this year the couple put on a steamy display of 'Drunk in Love' at the Grammy Awards, with Beyonce flashing her slimmed-down physique in a barely-there outfit as her husband looked on.

They have been seen together a lot of late, most recently at the Coachella music festival which was held in California over the weekend. Beyoncé’s sister Solange was performing, with the pop superstar making a surprise appearance alongside her.

"Give it up for my dancing partner and my favourite person in the world, my sister Beyonce," Solange told the crowd, with the siblings busting out synchronised dance moves to her hit Losing You.

Not to be outdone, Jay Z was the surprise guest for Nas’ set - with Puff Daddy joining them too.
