Australian pop star Jessica Mauboy will join Stan Walker for a free iHeartRadio concert at Auckland's Civic Theatre next month.

Mauboy rose to fame when she came second in Australian Idol in 2006, before signing with Sony Music Australia and going on to release 10 Top 20 multiple platinum-selling singles.

She has performed for Oprah Winfrey and President Barack Obama and this year was also named the first female face of the NRL campaign since Tina Turner in the 1990s.

Mauboy graced New Zealand cinema screens in festival film The Sapphires, alongside Chris O'Dowd.

"I am so excited to be coming back to New Zealand for the iHeartRadio event and performing with my good friend Stan Walker," says Mauboy.

"It's been such a long time since I have performed a gig for my New Zealand fans - I can't wait to get over there and sing my heart out!"

"My friend Jess is the best of the best so make sure you come along, it's going to be the best show of your life," adds Walker.

Jessica Mauboy's iHeartRadio concert at the Civic takes place on December 4. New Zealanders registered with iHeartRadio can enter a draw for free tickets.
