Warner Bros and Rocksteady have released a new behind-the-scenes video for Batman: Arkham Knight, introducing some of the voice cast for the game and offering some insight into the minds and motivations of characters in the game.

Kevin Conroy, renowned for his voicing of Batman in Batman: The Animated Series and the first two Batman: Arkham games, reprises that role in Arkham Knight.

"This part of the trilogy is a much more psychological challenge for Batman. He's being ripped apart, and he's fighting for his identity. For me as an actor, it was a blast to get to flex those muscles," says Conroy.

Commissioner James Gordon is voiced by Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), while the main villain, Scarecrow, is played by John Noble (Fringe, Sleepy Hollow, Lord of the Rings).

"It's been an interesting character to approach, because I don't get to use one of the 'monster voices' that you sometimes get to use in games," says Noble.

"So you've got to get that credible eeriness in the voice without overdoing it."

Ashley Greene (Twilight, Pan Am) plays Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Commissioner Gordon who doubles as intelligence support for Batman under the alias Oracle.

"The relationship Barbara Gordon and Commissioner Gordon is a loving relationship, but it's a bit secretive," says Greene in the video.

"She withholds a bit of information because he would never want his daughter involved with what Batman's doing because it's so dangerous."

Though not featured in the video, Warner Bros also confirmed that Tara Strong, Troy Baker and Nolan North return as Harley Quinn, Two-Face and Penguin, respectively.
