Kanye, who has famously had a number of run-ins with Los Angeles paparazzi when he is approached by a cameraman, who asks if he's waiting for a car.

"Where is this black sedan? Hang on one second," Kanye tells the photographer.

"Yeah I am... Uber everywhere. Shout out to Travis (Kalanick)," the star adds, with a nod to the co-founder of the taxi app.

The photographer then suggested that is his coworker would take the star to "wherever" he needed to go.

"Yeah I'll get a ride with you then, I don't need an Uber anymore I just get the paps to take me wherever I want to go," Kanye joked to the camera.

"Ya'll like that term the paps?"

Getting into the passenger seat of a black SUV Kanye asked if they could take him to celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak's gym in Santa Monica as the car set off down the road.

When they arrived he greeted the trainer with a hug, laughing, "Got the paps dropping me off."

The outspoken star is building a reputation lately for being open to talking to people. He recently agreed to meet with the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team to pitch his plans to redesign their mascot.

When asked by the "paps" if he had a message to his fans he added, "I love you, let's make the world a better place."
