Kate Winslet and her ex-husband Sam Mendes are finally putting their marriage behind them by separating their assets following their divorce.
The British actress announced her split from the director in March, 2010 and their divorce went through later that year.
It has now emerged the final details of the split settlement have been made official after Mendes transferred his share of the apartment they once owned in New York into his ex-wife's name.
The former couple purchased the penthouse in Manhattan's Chelsea district in 2004 for US$4.9 million and city records, obtained by New York Post gossip column Page Six, show the property has now been handed over to Winslet.
They were married for seven years before their split and are parents to eight-year-old son, Joe. The Titanic star is also mother to a daughter, Mia, 11, from her first marriage to director Jim Threapleton.
