House of Cards star Kevin Spacey is expanding his political drama interests with a new TV series based at the White House.
The Oscar winning Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare star currently plays the President of the United States on the hit Netflix drama, and now he and his producing partner Dana Brunetti are planning another Washington, DC-based programme, called The Resident.
The drama will follow the relationships between White House staffers and the various First Families that live there over the course of several administrations, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Spacey and Brunetti have recruited US journalist Megyn Kelly to serve as a co-executive producer on the project. The former attorney currently works as a news pundit and political commentator for the Fox News Channel.
