Actress/producer Lena Dunham is adding to her resume by publishing a weekly newsletter for women.

The star is teaming up with her Girls show runner Jenni Konner to launch Lenny, which will feature advice columns, essays and product recommendations.

Dunham says she came up with the idea after meeting women who "inspired me with their sense of community and their deep, deep desire for intelligent, politically liberal, thoughtful content that would speak to them" while she was promoting her book, Not That Kind of Girl.

The Girls actress is looking to start small with her new venture, but has plans to expand it into an e-commerce site focusing on products created by women. She also wants the newsletter to appeal to a diverse group of women.

She adds, "We want it to be an inclusive space. We're not making any assumptions about your identity. We're making the assumption that you're passionate and you care about other people's emotions and style and you just want to live a more connected life."

Lenny will launch in September.
