Welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers are considering a concert tour featuring their 1994 album The Holy Bible to "draw a line" under the disappearance of guitarist Richey Edwards.
Edwards vanished in 1995 prior to heading out on the road to promote the record, and he was officially declared presumed dead in 2008.
The album contains lyrics from Edwards detailing his fragile mental state as he battled alcoholism, anorexia nervosa, and self-harm, and now the band is considering playing it live in full to mark the 20th anniversary of its release.
Bassist Nicky Wire is even keen on taking the show on a US tour, but he admits if the album fails to translate well to live performance, it could be the end of the band.
He tells NME magazine, "(If it's) s**t, that could be the end of us... If we were to do it - and it is a big if - there would be a kind of symmetry... I'd like to do an American tour of it because we never took it to America and Japan. Obviously Richey disappeared so it would be drawing a line under that as well."
