Tonight in Auckland Daniel Bedingfield celebrated his latest batch of songs entitled Stop the Traffic, which will be released tomorrow.
While he's best known lately as a judge on TV3's X Factor, he did have number one songs in the UK and broke into the US, only to turn his back on commercial music.
Bedingfield even says he lost eight years of his 20s to a record company.
