Metal Slug is being released on iOS and Android devices.
The classic gaming series established Neo-Geo arcade machines as a dominant force in 2D action games and was renowned for its at the time state-of-the-art pixel graphics, and simple, yet deep, addictive gameplay.
The original Metal Slug is now available for iPhone and Android devices with Metal Slug 2 and Metal Slug X being released in coming months.
In addition to the traditional arcade mode, Metal Slug also offers iOS and Android users mission mode in which any previously cleared stage can be played separately.
Multiplayer is supported for the title through Bluetooth and there will also be online leaderboards to compete against.
