Miley Cyrus is heading out on tour with pals The Flaming Lips.
On the eve of her season-opening Saturday Night Live hosting gig, the pop star has announced plans to promote her surprise new album, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz, as part of a joint tour with Wayne Coyne and his bandmates, who first teamed up to record 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds' for the Lips' 2014 Beatles covers project, With a Little Help From My Fwends.
Appearing on comedian Jimmy Fallon's US late night show, she said, "I'm going to go on tour later this year, me and the Lips."
And she admits she'll have a lot of fun with mischief-maker Coyne, who joined Miley for her show-stopping MTV Video Music Awards finale performance this summer: "Wayne's back there drunk, falling on the floor, stealing stuff out of your dressing room."
